Sorry for not posting in weeks. Busy is not the word for things around here. A few post below, there is a lovely picture of a flat screen tv mounted on our fireplace.....well it's not there anymore. Our house was broken into about 2 weeks ago. Luckily we were not home. Mike was out of town (of course) and Makayla and I had been at my mom's house for dinner. We came home around 9 and I'm pretty certain the "bad man" was running out the back as we came in the front. It takes a 5 year old forever to do anything, so luckily it took us a while to get inside and gave him time to get out. They only stole the tv and the wii. Yes, the wii we just got 3 weeks prior. The police took over 15 minutes to get there and found no fingerprints. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel....
This week I got a phone call from my bank saying they had a man who was trying to cash a check and the bank didn't think the signature matched what was on file for me. Apparently he had taken a check book too and we didn't notice. He wasn't able to cash the check this week, but he did cash one last week for $460. BUT..... this was his biggest mistake. The idiot actually wrote his account number on the back of the check so now we have his name, phone number, address, and social. His name is Anthony Jerome Mobley Jr and he is 20 years old. I looked him up on the sheriffs website and he is following right along his fathers foot steps. Anthony Sr. has a rather lengthy criminal history. Hopefully the police will be able to catch him now since they apparently wait for the criminal to come to them. Moral of the story is...if your going to be a criminal, try to be smarter than your victim. Secondly, if you are a criminal, never move out of Savannah because the SPD won't lift a finger until you fall in their lap!!
